Mark Hayward is a physics graduate student and a professional choral singer. His musical journey began at the age of five, when he started singing in choir and studying the piano. During his college years, Mark was honored to join the University of Utah Chamber Choir, performing on renowned stages worldwide.
Post-college, Mark has continued to showcase his vocal talents with prestigious ensembles such as the Utah Chamber Artists, Utah Symphony Chorus, and the Grand Teton Music Festival Chorus. His repertoire includes iconic works like Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Rachmaninoff’s Vespers, Mozart’s Requiem, and Berstein’s Chichester Psalms. Additionally, Mark has participated in several commercial projects including soundtracks and classical works.
In recent years, Mark has contributed his expertise to the Ingrid Green Performing Arts program, providing vocal coaching for both solo and ensemble performances. When not immersed in his studies or assisting IGPA, Mark enjoys road cycling, playing the guitar, and gardening.
