About Us

You are here:

At the heart of our program is a passion for storytelling, creativity, and the transformative power of the performing arts.

Founded and led by Ingrid Green, our program is built on over five decades of experience in dance, theater, and arts education. From her early beginnings as a trained ballet, classical Spanish, and flamenco dancer to her work as a professional performer and award-winning choreographer, Ingrid has dedicated her life to nurturing talent and inspiring the next generation of performers.

After establishing a successful dance studio and producing acclaimed works in South Africa—including the groundbreaking flamenco ballet Portraits of an African Landscape—Ingrid brought her vision and expertise to the United States. Since then, she has become a cornerstone of youth theater in the Irvine community.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple:
to provide students with a professional, inspiring, and supportive environment where they can grow as performers and individuals.

We believe that theater is more than just performance—it builds confidence, discipline, teamwork, and creativity that lasts a lifetime.

What We Do

Over the past 20+ years, we have:

  • Brought musical theater programs to multiple elementary and middle schools
  • Produced over 50 school musicals
  • Helped hundreds of students discover their love for the stage
  • Partnered with local educational organizations to expand access to the arts

Our programs are designed to meet students where they are—whether they are stepping on stage for the first time or preparing for a future in performing arts.

Our Summer Intensive Program

In 2015, we launched our signature Summer Musical Theater Intensive, created to give students a true, real-world theater experience.

This immersive program has grown to serve over 80 students each year, ranging from 4th to 12th grade. Participants rehearse, train, and collaborate to produce a full-scale musical in a professional theater setting.

Students gain hands-on experience with:

  • Acting, singing, and dance training
  • Professional staging and choreography
  • Technical theater, including lighting, sound, and set design
  • Working alongside a full backstage crew

The program culminates in a fully produced musical complete with professional sets, moving elements, and high-quality production value—giving students an authentic glimpse into the world of live theater.

Why We’re Different

What sets us apart is our commitment to professional-level training in a supportive, inclusive environment.

We don’t just teach performance—we create an experience.

Our students leave with:

  • Stronger performance skills
  • Increased confidence
  • A deep understanding of collaboration
  • Lifelong memories and friendships
