There is so much I could say about Ingrid, her staff and this very special program. I had the privilege of meeting Ingrid about 10 years ago. And what started out as an opportunity for a couple of elementary schools to experience musical theatre, has now become Irvine city-wide events. Coupled with many Irvine elementary schools presently having the opportunity to participate, there is now a yearly Junior High musical.
In the summer, Ingrid and her staff spend most of their summer vacation producing two additional musicals…one for junior high age students and one for high schoolers. These groups of students in most cases, have participated in the musicals in the past and are a more experienced group hence, allowing these students to grow in their craft and be challenged.
Because Ingrid opens her auditions to all students, I have seen the shy child blossom; I have seen the special needs child become more social and make friends; I have seen previous students come back and help with the productions; I have seen and heard from students that making their career choices had to do with participating in Ingrid’s musicals. Ingrid and her staff are all about the students. They draw out the best of each one giving each child the opportunity to shine. This is an exceptional program with a remarkable staff whose dedication and love for the craft and students is unprecedented.

Our family is incredibly grateful for the transformative experience our daughters had during their time with Ingrid Green Performing Arts. The performing arts played an integral role in their growth and development throughout their elementary and middle school years.
Through IGPA, our girls explored music, dance, and theater, gaining the ability to express themselves, think creatively, and collaborate with others. These experiences not only nurtured their artistic abilities but also instilled discipline, perseverance, and a wealth of other valuable life skills beyond the traditional classroom setting.
Whether performing on stage or working behind the scenes, their involvement in the arts provided a deep sense of accomplishment and joy. It has helped lay a strong foundation for their future success, both personally and academically.
Thank you, Ingrid, and the entire IGPA team, for providing our daughters the gift of the arts. We will always cherish the memories and be forever grateful for the impact you’ve had on our family.

Mrs. Green is truly one of a kind. For the past 15 years, she has been creating magic through the Westpark school musical. Each year, we watch our students shine with talent and pride as they perform unforgettable shows. Mrs. Green’s commitment to inclusivity ensures that every student who wants to participate has the opportunity to do so, fostering an environment where lifelong friendships are made. It’s inspiring to see students build confidence and push past the nerves of performing. We are so grateful for Mrs. Green and the extraordinary work she does through the school musical. Westpark is incredibly lucky to have such a generous and talented teacher who gives so much of herself to the students. Thank you, Mrs. Green!

We are so grateful for Ingrid and her team for helping our two kids grow in confidence through their experiences in musical performances. The program sets high expectations and teaches commitment, teamwork, and accountability. We’ve seen our kids not only shine on stage but also grow as leaders in the classroom. It’s been especially rewarding to watch them build friendships and collaborate with both younger and older students. The junior productions are thoughtfully designed, with captivating costumes, sets, and choreography. We highly recommend Ingrid’s team for any family looking to inspire creativity and confidence in their children.

IGPA has played an integral part in my growth as a young artist. It is a blessing to not only be supported by a wonderful director, but also be surrounded by such driven, skilled, and supportive peers. There is truly no community quite like IGPA
